Predictions of very warm summer temperatures meant I decided to do all the things that needed to be cooked for the weekend in the oven early. After a BBQ to use up more zucchini with the "Jerusalem" Turkey Courgette Burgers, it was time for dessert. I wanted something light & fruity. I've never baked strawberries before, what a great idea. So easy to just halve them then add sumac, mint, lemon & vanilla. I've made labneh a lot so the drained yoghurt was easy, adding cream & sugar makes the whole thing rather more decadent. All served in fun retro glasses. A crowd pleaser on a balmy night.
