I've never cooked cavolo nero before. Can't say I loved it. Not so simple even, as the preparation of removing the stems was kind of time consuming. I chopped them off, rather than pulling them off. Should have read the recipe. My mistake. The texture of the greens was OK but the mix of chorizo with preserved lemons & then sour cream but not really to my taste,(however a friend at work loved it). Won't be making this again.
I served it as part of a vegetarian meal with Cauliflower Tabbouleh and Beetroot Bread.
