Brown Rice with Caramalised Onions & Black Garlic.

As a black garlic virgin, I was excited to find it in my local supermarket. Its use in this dish works really well. Whilst I like brown rice & commend its health benefits, it can sometimes be chewy but bland. This dish takes care of that issue, even if it means watching onions on the stove for 25 mins. I would do a lot more next time& have them in the fridge ready for other Ottolenghi dishes that use them, The end result was delicious!! Takes brown rice to another level. Served with Chicken Marbella & veggies.
