I served this salad on a balmy summer's night at a BBQ with steak & sausages after a hot game of tennis. Such an interesting combination of flavours. It's a little sweet with the peaches & maple syrup but balanced by the slight tartness of the raspberries. Secret ingredient that no one guessed is the 5 spice! I forgot to get radicchio & watercress is not as easy to find in Australia as in the UK so I used what similar ingredients I had which were some cos lettuce and mizuna from the garden. Also used red onion instead of a shallot.
I'll be making this again. Big impact for a few minutes preparation.
